Hunt partners helped BDO India source Devnath Iyengar as its Chief Operating Officer. A commerce graduate and a qualified Chartered Accountant and CWA, Devnath has over 18 years of professional experience with extensive exposure in financial reporting, financial control, planning & budgeting, banking & treasury, regulatory compliances, direct & indirect taxes and project finance. Devnath began his career with Ratan S. Mama & Co as Senior Audit Supervisor. In November 1995, he joined Essar Group as Manager in project financing, project exports and working capital management. In April 2003 he moved on to Nielsen India as Senior Manager. In December 2005, he joined Deloitte US in India as Financial Controller and played an important role in setting up company’s India finance operations and reported to US Firm Controller.
