About the Company:

Virtuous Retail South Asia (VR), a joint venture between APG and Xander group, is an institutionally owned developer-operator of community-oriented premium Lifestyle, Shopping Centers. Established in 2007, Virtuous Retail’s pan-India portfolio includes prime city center locations in Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh and Surat, making it the leading platform of quality retail real estate in India. So far, they have invested USD 350 Million in acquiring and developing the 4 assets with an operational portfolio of 5million square feet of retail properties in India.

About the Candidate:

Roney comes with over 12 years of experience. Before joining VRSA, he was the AGM Asset Management & Strategy for the Rentco business of DLF. He was responsible for periodically reviewing and assessing the rent yielding retail malls (EBITDA, ROI, IRR & NOI) to ensure their adherence and growth of the Budgeted Strategic and Annual Business Plans along with the Property Heads across the departments of Leasing, Marketing, Operations and other allied revenue streams. The role was pivotal in planning their long term capex needs, monitoring its deployment, evaluating, advising on acquisition and restructuring opportunities along with providing strategic support to the top management on the market research, financial feasibility, revenue planning and cost optimisation of the group’s new projects / investments. He was also responsible for concept incubation and development, strategic partnerships, brand planning, product strategy, technological and innovation driven roll-out across the portfolio inclusive of E-Commerce, Loyalty Program, Omnichannel, Data Analytics and AI.
