Founded by Dhruv Khaitan and Piyush Khaitan, NeoGrowth is a pioneer in the MSME digital lending industry. The total amount of loans funded by NeoGrowth till 31st March ‘19 has been around INR 4,348 crores (USD 639 Mn). As the founding member of DLAI, NeoGrowth has pioneered the evolution of digital lending in India. They are present in 21 cities, have a 700 strong unit and have touched upon 55,000+ potential customers.

About the Independent Director:

Ms. Bindu Ananth – Bindu Ananth is co-founder and Chair of Dvara Trust (formerly known as IFMR Trust). Bindu is the Board Chair for all subsidiaries where Dvara Trust is the principal shareholder. She was the Board Chair of Northern Arc Capital (formerly known as IFMR Capital) from inception to 2018. Prior to this, Bindu worked in ICICI Bank’s microfinance team between 2001 and 2005 where she conceptualized ICICI Bank’s partnership model with MFIs and was heading the new product development team within their Rural Banking Group in 2007. She worked on India’s first rainfall insurance product that was distributed to farmers through a rural financial institution in Telangana. She currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee of CGAP, the World Bank’s arm for financial inclusion. She is a member of the Advisory Board of Columbia University’s India Initiative. She was a nominee Director for NSE on the board of CAMS from 2016 – 2018. She has an under-graduate degree in Economics from Madras University and Masters Degrees from the Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) and Harvard University’s John. F. Kennedy School of Government where she received the Raymond Vernon Prize for Outstanding Commitment to International Development.
