About the Company:
Founded in 1965, NRB was the first company to manufacture needle roller bearings in India. For over 40 years NRB has pioneered the leading edge of bearing technology, and today over 90% of vehicles on Indian roads run on NRB parts. Since its inception, NRB has grown beyond its signature product to offer a wide range of high-precision friction solutions not only in the automotive sector, but also across all mobility applications. NRB Bearings Ltd. is into manufacture of needle roller bearings, cylindrical roller bearings and ball bearings. It pioneered the manufacture of needle roller bearings in India and currently is the leader in this segment with 70% market share. NRB has the largest bearings product range in the domestic market. NRB Group has revenues of INR 750Crores for FY17and Exports contribute 23% to the overall revenues.
In 2000 NRB established a dedicated Engineering & Design Centre at Thane, which has since been recognized by the Indian Department of Science & Technology as a world-class research and development facility.
About the Candidate:
Shruti has more than 15 years of experience primarily in Corporate Secretarial, and also in Legal function with reputed organizations like Ceat Tyre, Yes Bank, Jyoti Structure, and Abbott India. She is a qualified Law Graduate from Mumbai University and also completed her Diploma in Business Management from Welingkar’s Institute of Management.
Shruti has a long and highly fruitful association with RPG Group and is currently leading the complete Secretarial Department for Ceat Limited, an INR 6300 Cr Listed entity in Bombay Stock Exchange. Additionally, Shruti also takes care of the Legal and Secretarial departments of Summit Securities, the investment arm of the RPG (Family Office) Group. In the current role, Shruti managed multiple projects and initiatives in the function to improve corporate governance standards and internal systems for the organization.
Last one year Shruti has supported the company wide efforts that helped Ceat win the Deming Award last month, the first tire company to win this coveted award. Shruti had short duration associations with Yes Bank and Jyoti Structures in early part of her career and worked in multiple interesting Secretarial and Legal projects She is currently also part of the Government Affairs Group in ATMA industry body and represents CEAT in the association
