A mechanical engineer from IIT, Madaras; Mr. Bharath Vasudevan completed his MBA from IIM Banglore. He commenced his career with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting as a Senior Consultant in 1997 where he assisted numerous NBFCs in various aspects. He later moved on to Capital One in 2001 and was working as Chief of Staff of Consumer Credit Risk Management & Head, Advanced Analytics till December 2009. In 2010 Vasudevan joined Standard Chartered as Head – Credit Policy, MIS & Analytics. Before joining Bajaj Finserv, Bharath held the posts of Head, Portfolio Management, South Asia, Middle East & Africa as well as Head – Credit Policy & Risk Analytics Middle East & Germany. Here he was responsible for ensuring the regions deliver on the risk and revenue commitments in a sustainable manner and building tools that support decisions relating to growth.
