ORIGIO INDIA
ORIGIO India employs ~ 52 employees in various offices all over India. The main office is located in Mumbai. The company has during the past 2 years had its challenges in a quickly changing market and is therefore seeking for an experienced General Manager to head the company and act as operational manager with accountability for sales, distribution and service. The objective would be to build Origio’s sales & service subsidiary and to strengthen the organization, with a focus on efficiency and profitability.
About the Candidate:
Amit has 15 years of experience in the Medical Devices and Consumables industry in multinational and Indian Companies including Becton Dickinson, Beckman Coulter, Roche Diagnostics, Sowar, Auroprobe Laboratories respectively. At Becton Dickinson, he took over the business when it was $ 7.5 Million and has grown it to current revenue of $ 12 Million in 3.5 years time with a team of 32 members. At Beckman Coulter, as National Sales Manager, he was instrumental in rebuilding and re-structuring the business in India with the help of a global team. He has deep exposure to sales, business development and channel management. He is a hands-on sales and business Manager, and has deep relationships with doctors in Hospitals, Clinical Labs, Research Institutes, Fertility Clinics. He is experienced in managing teams, and has also worked closely with the service, finance and logistics team while at Becton Dickinson.
