Ms Sudha Ravi’s appointment as Independent Director at Goodyear India brings an ideal mix of leadership, intellectual depth, stature and diversity. Holder of BSc and L.L.B. degrees from University of Madaras and Mumbai respectively, Ms. Sudha started her career with State Bank of India. Working in various larger and richer roles with increasing responsibilities in an illustrious career spanning over 30 years, she became the Executive Secretary to Chairman in Nov 2002. She was later appointed Chief Representative, USA operations, based at Washington DC in 2006 and upon her return as General Manager, Enterprise Risk Management, Mumbai in 2010. In 2011 she left SBI and joined India Venture Advisors, (part of the Piramal Group) as President and later moved on to Piramal Finance Ltd as CEO in 2011 where she has been playing a pivotal role in the company’s foray into financial services sector while leading the company on an aggressive growth path.
