About the Candidate:
Hunt Partners assisted Metro Cash & Carry India in appointing Sumat Chopra as Value Creation Director. An accomplished Banker & Entrepreneur, Sumat has a decade of enriching experience. After having a successful investment banking & private equity career, Sumat completed his MBA from INSEAD. Post MBA, Sumat co-founded EkStop.com – first eGrocer in the country to have direct modern-trade sourcing from leading manufacturers. He exited the venture by selling it to the Godrej Group after building it to be a #2 online grocer in the country and continued to work with them to further enhance and develop the business.
