Hunt Partners places Needhi Lazara as the Head HR at Softbank Energy :
SB Energy, also known as SB Energy Global, is a multinational renewable energy corporation operating in India, the United States, and Europe. The company was formed in 2015 as a subsidiary of Japanese multinational conglomerate SoftBank Group Corp. SB Energy is led by CEO Raman Nanda to develop renewable energy projects globally. As of October 2019, SB Energy has developed 10 utility-scale renewable energy projects in India (8 solar, 1 wind, 1 hybrid), totaling 5.5 GW, of which more than 1.5 GW are operational.
Needhi holds a Bachelor Degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relation from University of Delhi and is an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur. She heads the Human Resources department for SB Energy currently. She has earlier worked for over a decade across sectors – Service, Automotive and Banking. Prior to her current role she was heading the human resource function for Times Business Solutions which owns some of the popular brands like Timesjobs, Techgig, HappyKeys, SimplyMarry etc.. She has also been conferred with ‘Women Super Achiever Award’ by World HRD Congress in February 2017.
