Hunt Partners places Mr Nasser Munjee as the Independent Director at Greenko Energies Private Limited :

Greenko is one of India’s leading Renewable Energy companies, replacing fossil fuels with integrated decarbonized energy and grid assets enabling sustainable and affordable energy, with a net installed capacity of 4.53 GWdc across 15 States in India. The company has over 500MW of assets under construction which are scheduled to commission next year achieving a 5GW platform scale.

 

Mr Nasser Munjee served with HDFC for over 20 years at various positions including as its Executive Director. He was the Managing Director of Infrastructure Development Finance Co. Ltd. (IDFC) up to March 2004. Presently he is the Chairman of Development Credit Bank (DCB) since June 2005 and is also on the Board of various Multinational Companies and Trusts.

Mr Munjee is a Technical Advisor on the World Bank-Public Private Partnership Infrastructure and Advisory Fund.
Mr Munjee holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics, UK.

Mr Munjee has deep interest in rural development, housing finance, urban issues, infrastructure and humanitarian causes. He was a technical advisor on the World Bank’s Public Private Partnership Infrastructure and Advisory Fund. He is also associated with several public and private institutions as chairman, a member of the board or as a trustee.
