Hunt Partners places Deepak Chatrath as the Head- Group Internal Audit at Export Trading Group:

Deepak is a seasoned professional with hands on experience across audit & control, commercial finance and fraud management. Prior to joining ETG, Deepak was associated with SREI Group as SVP – Audit at group level. He was instrumental in strengthening the audit function and implemented various new practices and policies focusing on value addition, he drove the implementation of new IT practices, Internal financial control and Fraud control policies.

Earlier he was working with ACC Cements where he was involved in pre-acquisition activities for merger with Holcim. The role later expanded to include Holcim, Singapore and Holcim, Malaysia, helping him gain exposure to the best internal audit methodologies followed by Holcim worldwide. He started his career with Tata Tea and later worked with Goodricke (UK based MNC), and Johnson Mathey.

Deepak is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
