Bengaluru based Ozone Group backed by Urban Infrastructure Venture Capital Ltd is a rapidly expanding real estate developer. India’s Construction Sector is expected to grow by 7-8% each year. Riding this growth wave Ozone Group is going to raise funds amounting to INR 2500 Millions for its upcoming project in Bengaluru. Earlier in March 2015 it had raised INR 1500 Millions from Aditya Birla Real Estate Fund. It won the Emerging Developer of the Year Award, Chennai in 2013. Ozone Group expects to close the current financial year with a top line of Rs 600 crore, a growth of 25 per cent over the previous year and hopes to double it in the next financial year under the leadership of Srinivasan Gopalan.

A commerce graduate, Srinivasan completed his Cost Accountancy and Chartered Accountancy in 1995 and 1996 respectively while working as Audit Assistant in Deloitte Touche Tauhmatsu International. In 1997 he joined Gharda Chemicals as Manager-Treasury and Taxation. Later in the year 2000 he joined ROW2 Technologies India Private Limited as VP – Finance and moved on to take a diversified role as VP – Operations in the company. In 2005 he was appointed as CEO at ROW2 Technologies and was credited for turning around the company from zero turnover to USD 10Millions turnover company with $6 Millions profit in 3 years. In 2009, Srinivasan joined The Wadhwa Group as CFO and in 2012 he was promoted as COO. Here he managed to raise funds of about INR 35000 Millions and was instrumental in tax restructuring resulting in annual tax savings of INR 1000 Millions
