Hunt Partners appoints Kapil Kriplani as the Vice President - Corporate Finance
Bhartiya Group was established in 1987 as a leading fashion house with presence in Asia, Europe and the United States. It has since then diversified into three business verticals; Bhartiya International, Bhartiya Urban and Bhartiya International SEZ. Bhartiya Urban Infrastructure & Land Development Company (BUILDCO) recently launched Bhartiya City, a mix-use township in Bengaluru, spanning across 125 acres with 20 million square feet of saleable & leasable area that includes malls, hotels and even an IT SEZ, apart from thousands of apartments.
Kapil has been appointed by Bhartiya as VP – Corporate Finance. He was last associated with Reliance Capital (ADAG) as Vice President – Corporate Finance since February 2015 where he raised funds to the extent of approx INR 5000 crores. He has been a part of the strategic deals initiated and executed by the Chairman’s office. He comes with strong relationships across India Put Sector banks and PSUs and PE investors. Prior to this, he was with Vedanta Resources where he worked across raising funds for various projects and subsidiaries of Vedanta. He used mix of different instruments and structures to raise fund to the tune of INR 30,000 crores independently and was involved in deals ranging up to INR 10000-15000 crores. He has good understanding of overall treasury functions and has managed the dealing aspect of it
